He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao Soares Moreira and Emilia Cabral Sousa; and his wife Maria Moreira. He is survived by: his children, Adelina Moreira, Rita Moreira, Nelia Da Silva and Dina Moreira; his grandchildren, Peter, Mike, Carlos, Mario, Tristan, Brittany, Miranda, Evy and Chloe; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Mavrick, Jaslene, Oscar, Cobe, Alina and Payton; and his great great grandchild Carter. He is also survived by 13 siblings, many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church (210 South St, Cambridge, ON N1R2P4).
