With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Kwakernaak (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on May 1, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kwakernaak (Crawford); his children, Hollie Wanders (Dean) and Kate Malda (Dave); his grandchildren, Morgan, Danielle, Madison, Lucas and Bennett; and his sister Gerrie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lounsbury Funeral Home (1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge, ON N3C1N8). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
