John Burnet Trothen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Burnet Trothen (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on April 1, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother William Trothen; and his parents, Ruth Trothen (Burnet) and Jack Trothen. He is survived by: his wife Beverley (Solomchuk); his children, Jonathan and Michelle; his grandchildren, Victoria Connor, Kate Trothen and Cole Trothen; his brother Robert Kitchener (Harriet); his sisters-in-law, Patricia Solomchuk Kitchener (Brian Cross) and Kimberley Thibert Windsor (Gerrard); his parents-in-law, Jack Solomchuk and Grace Solomchuk (Cooke); and his caregivers, Benedette, Jodie and Jackie of Paramed. He is also survived by great-nieces (5) and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's name to The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 272, 26 Schofield St, Cambridge, ON N3C 1Y3.
