He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Strickland; and his pets, Taffy and Ruff. He is survived by: his daughter Phoebe Strickland; his grandchildren, Sydney and Rachel Raymond; his mother Lucy Strickland; his siblings, George Strickland (Sue), Linda Strickland-Harth (Peter), Mariah Strickland and Jim Strickland (Wendy Woodfield); his significant other Rita Strickland; his children, Danny Spence (Natalie Martin), Sherry Spence and Brenda Dinelle (Gerry); his grandchildren, Mike Gagné, Randy Gagné, Becky Spence, Amber Dinelle and Gerry Dinelle; and his great grandchild Sydney Gagné McKnight. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
