He was predeceased by: his wife Maria; his sibling Eugenia; and also Dores. He is survived by: his children, Fernanda Mate (John) and Jean Robertson (Brent); his grandchildren, Austin, Lucas, Avery, Travis and Carter; and his siblings, Maria, Helena, Conceição, Antonio, Manuel and Rosa. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, especially his friends.
