He is survived by: his children, Lurdes From (John), Tina Amaral, Tony Tavares, Fatima Lednicky, Frank Tavares (Marlene) and John Tavares (Tanya); his wife Maria Espirito Santo Tavares; his children, Joe Tavares and Lucy Cordeiro; and his son-in-law Ronnie MacDougal. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many more extended family members and friends.
