He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria (Silveira); his children, Joe, Ofelia Patterson (Bill) and Dean (Kathy); his grandchildren, Jasmine Almeida, Christopher Patterson, Nicholas Warren, Meghan Vieira, Hailey Alanis, Sierra Patterson and Alex Vieira; and his great grandchildren, Ryder Patterson and Lincoln Almeida.
