He was predeceased by: his father Michael; and his siblings, Michael Haberer, Hans Haberer (Germany), Maria Reichert and Wallburga Kober (Germany).

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ranchuk; and his children, Rosemarie Lourenco (Arthur) of Mississauga, Joseph Richard Haberer of Cambridge, Michael Haberer of Niagara, Jeanette Willard (Travis) of Waterloo, Jonathon Haberer (Stacy Foley) of New Liskeard and Issac Haberer of New Liskeard.
