He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura McKinlay and Stewart McKinlay. He is survived by: his daughter Sherry; his granddaughters, Jessica and Clarice; his siblings, Shirley Smith (Daniel) and Phillip McKinlay; and his son Mike. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
