Joy Lynne Neyers, born on November 5, 1948 in Timmins, Ontario, passed away on September 28, 2026. Joy leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Joy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Joy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Joy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her mother Synèse Hofmann (Ernie); and her brother David "Duffy" Thomas (Carmen). She is survived by: her son Jason (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Lucas and Sophie; and her brother Fred Thomas (Donna). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lounsbury Funeral Home (1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge, ON N3C1N8).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy (OFCP) an organization that was close to her heart.
