Karen Goobie Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Goobie (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Taylor and Victory Taylor; her husband Robert Goobie; her nephew Grant Taylor; her daughters, Chris Goobie-Franzoi (Walter), Margaret Scott (Bill) and Pam Goobie (Dave "Newt"); and her grandson Andrew Scott.

She is survived by: her brother Mark Taylor (Norma); her nephew Paul Taylor; her grandchildren, Nikki Blackmore, Lexi Blackmore and Brodie Wiltsie; and her great grandchildren, Ian Gibson and Logan Blackmore.

As expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital, the Kidney Foundation, Alzheimer Society or the Humane Society.
