He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Joseph McGrath and Margaret Mary McGrath (Christopher); his brother Gary McGrath; his brothers-in-law, Kevin Stone and James Hallam; and his father-in-law Reginald Hallam.

He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Stephanie Mills (Justin), Michelle McGrath (Shane Taplin), Ryan and Russell McGrath; his grandchildren, Asia, Jayden, Sydney Mills, Emma McGrath, Lucas, Quinn, Parker Taplin, Aalaya Bacon and Mason McGrath; his siblings, Mary Stone, Kevin McGrath (Marie), Leo McGrath (Louise), Michael McGrath (Lillian), Gordon McGrath (Margaret), Aiden McGrath (Brenda) and Donna McGrath (Leonard Christopher); his siblings-in-law, Lenard Hallam, Glenna Lederman (Jim), Andre Hallam and Rick Hallam; his mother-in-law Janice Hallam; and his friend Neil Hunt. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.

Due to the restrictions surrounding COVID-19 there will be no public services at this time.
