He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Scheffel and Cliff Scheffel; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his siblings, Ron (Joanne) of Kitchener, Susan Boughton of Guelph and Sandra Wanklin (Kim) of Cambridge; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Scheffel (Brian Hooper), Steven Scheffel (Lynn), Stacey Wanklin, Jon Wanklin (Jamie), Greg Boughton (Jackie) and Julie Dodd (Jeff).
