He was predeceased by: his wife Christena "Tena" Schieck; his parents, Alvin Schieck and Marion Schieck; and his siblings, Doug Schieck, Bertha Douglas, Dorothy Potter, Morgan Schieck, Arthur Schieck and Margaret Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela, Ivan Sharp of Barrie, Alvin Schieck, L. M. Landry of Peterborough, Dan and Kim Schieck of Mississauga; his grandchildren, Garnet Schandry, Docité Schandry, Rowan Schieck and Devin Schieck; and his siblings-in-law, Andy, Susan Aitchison, Debbie and Harry Lopers. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.
