She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel; her parents, Jose Bettencourt and Rosa Bettencourt; her son John; and her siblings, Arnold Bettencourt, Inis Martins and Maria Texeira.

She is survived by: her children, Carl (Helia), Joe, Lucy Bell (Jim) and Marg Clark (Keith); her grandchildren, Melissa, Daniel, Joe Lopez and Mathew Clark; her great grandchild Mckenzie; and her sisters, Marina Maria and Maria Pavao. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Donations made to Canadian Cancer society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
