She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ellis and Gertrude Ellis; and her sister Kathleen (Frank). She is survived by: her children, Karen Guthrie (Dave) and Bill MacKenzie (Heather); her grandchildren, Virginia Pullar (Ryan), Bonnie Guthrie, Laura, Peter (Candace) and Blaire MacKenzie (Michelle); her great grandchildren, Ashley, Dean Schwarz, Mackenzie, Sean Pullar, Emma and Grace MacKenzie; and her friends, Dr. Rodney, Maggie Coltman and Algonquin. She is also survived by nieces and a nephew.

If wished, donations may be made to Friends of Algonquin, local foodbanks or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
