He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Carter and Daphne Carter. He is survived by: his wife Betty (Egerton); his children, Steven (Anne Marie), Brian (Alicia), Michael (Anne) and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Morgan (Ben), Lauren and Matthew; his siblings, Laura Gould (Robert), Marilyn Watson (Glenn), Raymond (Susan) and Wayne (Nancy); and his brother-in-law Gerald Egerton (Vivi). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grand River Hospital Kidney Care or St. Mary's General Hospital Cardiac Care.
