She was predeceased by: her siblings, Thomas Carney (Virginia), Lucille Fairall (Edward), Eleanor Kuttler (William) and Joseph L. Carney, Jr.; her brother-in-law Samuel J. Hood; and her parents, Joseph Carney and Gladys Carney.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Dykema; her sister-in-law Hilda Hood; her children, David Dykema (Roswitha), Esther Pantea (Valentin) and Ruth Engler (Erich); her grandchildren, Katherine, Nathaniel Dykema, Sophia, Juliana, Stefan, Jordan Pantea, Daniel, Sarah and Isaac Engler; and her sibling's children, Joe, Wendy Kuttler, Paul Hood (Judy), Mark Hood (Sherie), Linda Mack, Karen Gaddey and Gary Fairall.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forward Church (55 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge, ON N1R5S2). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
