He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartholomew and Beryl; his brother Gordon; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur and Theresa Cole.

He is survived by: his wife Genevieve "Jenny"; his children, Theresa Doyle (Peter), Bart (Ellen) and Louis (Teresa); and his siblings, Stan (Patricia) of Cambridge, Lorraine Cahill (Bill) and George (Barb). He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Lou's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
