He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Dias and Maria Lourdes Dias; and his sister Lucy Martins. He is survived by: his wife Anna (Cabral); his sons, Andrew Dias (Jody Wilkins) and Kyle Dias (Lisa Espinola); his grandson Aiden; his pet Chico; his sisters, Noelle (Jim Strain) and Kathy (Ed Falcao); and his brother-in-law Len Read. He is also survived by sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and countless cousins, friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
