He was predeceased by: his brother Joao. He is survived by: his child Duarte (Grace); his grandchildren, Marc (Melanie), David (Emily) and Alexander; his great grandchild Mason; his siblings, Jose Maria (Isilda), Americo (Felismina), Maria Alice (Elvino) and Eduardo (Rita); and his sister-in-law Orlanda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
