He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jose (Idalina), Maria (Jose), Joao (Adriana), Adelaide (Jose) and Antonio (Virginia).
He is survived by: his wife Julieta; his children, Suzana (Luis), Sandra (Peter) and Nancy (John); his grandsons, Lucas and Ethan; his sisters, Virginia (late Jose) and Fatima (late Jose Maria); and his family, Kindness and Benfica. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews and extended friends and family.
