Manny is survived by his parents, Manuel Paiva and Maria Paiva; his son Jamie, his siblings, Tony (Sue), Anna (Tony), Joe (Debbie), Angelo (Lidia), Zelia and Henry. He was also cherished by his 16 nieces and nephews.

As an expression of sympathy the family has requested that donations to the Grand River Mental Health ACTT team be made in lieu of flowers.
