She was predeceased by: her parents, Linton Laird and Iris Bartlett; and her siblings, Don, Elsie Tolhurst, Jack, Ruth Bucholtz, Ken (Ruta), Clare (Marg), Mary Balzer and Gwen Laird.

She is survived by: her spouse Russell Johnson; her children, Ken (Wendy), Martin (Kerri) and Michelle (Oliver); her stepfather Arthur Lewis; her daughter-in-law Beverly; her grandson Jeff; her siblings-in-law, Angus, Andy and Barb Copeland; her sister Lynn Feick; her siblings-in-law, Don and Judy Johnson; and her close friends, Ruth Anne Stortz, Dorothy Neufeld, Helen Doctor, Glenna Huff and Brooke Parsons. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
