She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Jason Schofield (Christine) and Laurie Vaz (Andy); her grandchildren, Thomas, Cassandra Schofield, Nathan and Liam Vaz; her mother Maria Van Zoomeren; her siblings, Didi Mulder (Andy) and John Van Zoomeren (Ria); her friend BJ; and her father Jan Van Zoomeren. She was also cherished by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in Marg's memory to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
