Maria Silva Obituary
In loving memory of Maria Silva (Cambridge, Ontario), who departed this world on October 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Maria leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Ferreira Silva; her grandson Mark Paul Da Silva; and her parents, Maria Mederios (Ponte) and Manuel Mederios. She is survived by: her children, Ilda Almeida (Manuel) and Maria-Merces DaSilva (Paul); her grandchildren, Ellen (Wade), Karen (Joe), Clifton (Shelisa), Bella (Derek) and Joshua; her great grandchildren, Jeremy, Chandler, Halle, Dallas, Bella, Addyson, Gavin and Cristian; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tyler, Caden and Zayd; and her siblings, Adriana, John, Gilda and Connie. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima RC Church (185 Elgin St S, Cambridge, ON N1R7C8). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mount View Cemetery (80 Blenheim Rd, Cambridge, ON N1S4H8).
