She was predeceased by: her husband Domingo Zapanza. She is survived by: her children, Esperanza "Espie" Zapanza-Cruz, Thelma Zapanza-Bagayawa (Ruben), Emerlita "Emily" Zapanza-Balayo, Rolito "Roly" Zapanza (Melinda), Nelson Zapanza (Ingrid) and Angelo Zapanza (Erly). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Lisaard House or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
