Matthew Robert Foster Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Robert Foster (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Florence (late Eddie) and Marjorie (late Jack); and his parents, Matthew Robert Foster and Clara (late Moody). He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Hali (Rick Iorio), Tobi (Mike Schwartz) and Myles (Kate Ware); his grandchildren, Karsten Macklem, Sydney Schwartz and Meagan Foster; his great grandchild Kalin; his siblings, Betty (late Ernie), Gloria (late Lou), Kenneth (Jackie) and Susanne (Gerry); and his sister-in-law Janice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Matthew made to Doctors Without Borders Canada would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
