She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Derek Matysik; her son Carson Matysik; her brothers, Jim Metcalfe and Jeff Wheat; her parents, John Wheat and Lois Wheat; her sisters-in-law, Kate Metcalfe and Tamara Wheat; her siblings' children, Allie Metcalfe, Amelia and Brooklyn Wheat; and her father-in-law Wilhelm Matysik.
