“"How's Tom Husebye?" That's the first Mel would say to me whenever I saw him. Literally every time. We could run into each other a dozen times at a function and he'd look at me each time with a big grin and ask, "How's Tom Husebye?" And of course I'd reply, "Well I'm doin' alright, Mel. You?" Then we'd talk about the rest of you behind your backs for a few minutes and carry on. My deepest sympathies for your loss. He will be missed but never forgotten.”
