He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick O'Toole and Anne O'Toole; and his siblings, Roger, Kitty, Rita, Betty, Frances and Mary.

He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughter Lisa; his granddaughters, Cortney and Emily; and his sister Shirley (Frank). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
