He was predeceased by: his wife Fern Elizabeth; and his son Darrell Riehl. He is survived by: his sons, Chad of Niagara and Jeremy Riehl of Thorold; his siblings, Ronald Ransome of Boularderie, N. S., John Ransome of Rexdale, William Ransome of Vanderhoof, BC., Phyllis Clarke of North Sydney, N. S., Margaret Ransome of Smith Falls, Wilena Ransome of Oakville and Zita Ransome of Belleville; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Matthew, Donovan, Faith, Ryder and Mica.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
