It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Mae Scheerer (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Russell Scheerer; her son Douglas; her grandchildren, Shannon Leis, Kyle Leis, Emily Rowe and Alexander Rowe; her sister Myrtle Oestricher; her siblings-in-law, Gladys Knechtel, Roy Scheerer (late Esther), John Scheerer (Sharon), Mervin Scheerer (Florence) and Laverne Scheerer (Susan); her parents, Luella Shantz and Amsy Shantz; and her sisters, Vera Kipfer, Nora Shantz and Alice Bauman (Clifford Shantz).
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria, Dolores Leis (Bruce) and Marilyn Rowe (Dan).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wanner Mennonite Church (1725 Beaverdale Rd, Cambridge, ON N3C2V3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wanner Mennonite Cemetery (2320 Maple Grove Rd, Cambridge, ON N3C2V3).
