Words of sympathy

Bill Bartels wrote a sympathy message

“Sure sorry to hear of Normie's passing. My memories of Norm go back to Hespeler Public School - we were class mates for 9 years. I enjoyed playing a lot of hockey with him on his back yard rink, in the old arena right up through the minor hockey leagues and then on the HESPELER Hawks (junior B). Norm & I were the only Hespeler players on that team. We spent a season playing with Bobby Hull. Since that time we went our separate ways, but I did see him a few times. Solong to a good friend.”
