He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco and Assunta; his siblings, Ippazia (Oronzo), Marino and Salvatore; and his sisters-in-law, Ada and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Valerie (Carlo), Ornell (Charlie) and Melina (Fabien); his grandchildren, Amanda, Daniela, Elyssa, Quintin, Chloé and Amélie; his siblings, Antonio, Giuseppe (Antonia), Sebastian and Maria Luisa (Genuino); his sisters-in-law, Alba and Rita; and his caregivers, Christina, Dr. Sandor, Dr. Hahn, Dr. Koke, Dr. Halligan and Dr. Shahi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family welcomes donations to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Palliative Care, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
