He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Emily Hilker; his parents, George Hilker and Verna Hilker; his siblings, Allan Hilker and Donna Bradbury; and his sister-in-law Marie Mitchell.

He is survived by: his spouse Marilyn; his children, Christine, Jeanette and Craig (Sylvia); his grandchild Ethan; his sister Lynne Misener (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Bradbury, George Mitchell and Linda Hilker.
