He was predeceased by: his father Robert Mercer. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Mercer; his sisters, Lorraine Kitchen (Gerald), Debbie Holland (Tom) and Robin Mercer (Ira); and his siblings' children, Connie Barrett, Corey Kitchen, Darren Kitchen, Kyle Holland, Jessica Holland, Sydney Kearns and Evan Kearns.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lisaard and Innisfree House would be appreciated.
