He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Whittet and Elsie Whittet; his brother David Whittet; his brother-in-law Dick Sutton; and his nephew Raymond Alexander Whittet.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Whittet and Tara Waddell (Helen Loft); his grandchildren, Tyler Whittet, James Whittet and Stacey Whittet; his sisters, Ann Sutton, Isabel Pitman and Jean Thompson (Scott); his siblings' children, Angela Volpe (Gus), Arlene Pownall (Andy), Susanne Vuksic (Paul) and Ryan Wiens; and his great-niece Niki Dal Bello (Darrell, family: Michelle Seifried).
