He was predeceased by: his father R. C. Hilborn; and his sisters, Karen Chaplin and Kirsten Andrews. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Macnaughton-Hilborn; his children, Ian (Nathalie), Mackie (Shannon) and Lisa Laycock (Tyler); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Marty and Penelope; his mother Laurette Pond (Ron); and his brother Michael.
