She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Cole; her children, Tina Cole, George Cole (Virginia), Lisa Heastont (Pete) and Nicholas Cole; her grandchildren, Heidy, Brook (Shawn), Steven, Wade, Derek, Koby and Tegan; her great grandchildren, Lorissa, Shiann, Davin and Wyatt; her siblings, Elsie (Frank), Edna (Glen), Kevin (Carol) and Edward (late Elaine); her sisters-in-law, Judy (late Tom) and Fay (late David); her parents, David Fitzgerald and Julia Fitzgerald; and her sisters, Lillian, Mary (Peter) and Margaret.
