He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ross and Jeanne Richmond (Smith); his brothers, James and Geoffrey; his in-laws, Duane Wharram, Donald, Jean Albrecht and Ronald Yungblut; Garry Gibbons.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Richmond (Albrecht); his grandchildren, Felicia, Nathan, Dylan, Hazel, Athena and Colin; his siblings, Roger Richmond (Barbara) of Washington, ON, Carolyn Gibbons of New Hamburg and Rosemary Chesney (Bill) of Burlington; and his in-laws, Ruth Ann Wharram, Ken, Gwen Albrecht, Leonard, Lynette Albrecht, Laurie Yungblut, Graham Jackson, Mary and Elgin Shantz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
