He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Smith and Freda Smith (Martin); and his siblings, Barbara Townsend and Tony. He is survived by: his daughter Kim Smith (Kenn Thomas) of Cambridge; his sister Linda; and his brother-in-law Roy Reeby. He is also survived by four nephews and numerous cousins.
