He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Young and Leo Young; and his siblings, George, Mike and Rita.
He is survived by: his son Jamie Young-Sheppard; and his siblings, Sharon of Cambridge, Lorraine (Joe) of Cambridge, Karen (Larry) of Cambridge, Marie (Rick) of Bell Island, NL, Tom (Bernice) of Bell Island, NL., Gary (Mary) of Bell Island, NL. and Colin (Sylvia) of Bell Island, NL.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation.
