It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Robin Hurnanen (Cambridge, Ontario), born in Lethbridge, Alberta, who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hurnanen and Eileen Hurnanen; and his siblings, Lila Johnson, Jonas Hurnanen and Iona Mae Hurnanen.

He is survived by: his wife Marlyn Hurnanen (Janzen); his children, Darin Hurnanen and Shauna Hurnanen (Peter Cheung); his grandchildren, Aidan, Anna Hurnanen, Liam and Sophie Cheung; his sister Eileen Landa; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Hurnanen and Don Janzen. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, extended family.
