He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia; his children, Jane Simac (Petar), Neil (Jessica) and David; his grandchildren, Luka, Ryan Simac, Bryce, Jesse and Isabella "Izzy" Harrickey; and his siblings, Stephen (Joan), Elizabeth Adshade, John (Cindy), Patricia Lee (Gabe) and Michael (Denise). He was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Grand River Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Kidney Foundation of Canada in Sydney's memory.
