She was predeceased by: her spouse Frank Schmied Sr.; her parent Elizabeth; and her siblings, Paula, Elizabeth, Mary, Julie, John, Margaret and Helen.

She is survived by: her children, Frank (Cathy), Oma and Julie (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Zara and Kingston.
