He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Alice; his stepmother Sarah (Rita); and his siblings, Pat (Aggie), Annie, Mary (Mike), Alice, Diane (John) and Shirley (Jim).

He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Flore), Brian, Patricia and John; and his sisters, Eleanor (Edward), Betty, Sonia (Jospeh) and Daphne (Jules). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
