He was predeceased by: his son Todd; his parents, Simon and Helen (Duffy); his parents-in-law, Derwood Teet and Rosina "Rose" Teet (Alex Steadman); and his brother-in-law Gerold.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Thomas Jr. (Sharon Barnes), Tammy (Ray Cole) and Trevor; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Tayler, Maddi, Tanner, Hunter and Lily; and his brother-in-law Richard Teet (Sharon).
