He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Deolinda; his children, Mary Lopes (Jose), Tony Pereira Laranjeiro (Fatima), Mena Lopes (Ricardo), Tiago Laranjeiro (Dina) and Maria Goreti Way (Brad); his grandchildren, Paula, Natalie, Daniel, Paul, Sonia, Catia, Vanessa, Michael, Eric, Ryan, Adam, Alexis, Sophia and Hudson; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Isaiah, Antonio, Sofia, Cruz, Willow, Alexander, Charlotte, Grayson and James; and his sisters, Julia Rodrigues, Quiteria Pacheco and Trinity. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
