He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Isabel (Cross); his brother Wayne; his sister-in-law Barb; his son-in-law Gerald (Lynda Pynn); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley and Colin.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Patricia Thompson; his children, Rob (Lisa), Tammy, Dave (Tammy) and Nadine (Greg); his grandchildren, Cody (Dez), Nick (Tori), Jordan, Kain, Cara, Tori, Jacob, Ryan and Vanessa; his great grandchildren, Emerson, Evilyn and Easton; his siblings, Robert (Maureen), Janice (Gary) and Scott (Diane); his siblings-in-law, Eileen, Clayton (Judy), Elsie (Byron), Gerry (Dorothy), Sandy, Wayne (Joan) and Dion (Nancy); and his aunt Coreen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
